Table Numbers & Dinner Menus

I made table numbers with a simple timeline and a thank-you on the other side.  I also made dinner menus to match.  I used Tolsby frames from Ikea, printed the text on a vellum paper from Michaels and then used card stock for the colour behind.  I used pink paper and a heart punch to create the heart and then used a foam number to create a 3D effect.

Wedding Card Box

I found this small greenhouse at Home Sense during spring to hold our cards.  I made the banner by using string, pink paper, a heart punch, a small hole punch and foam letters.

Bar & Wine Menu

I created a menu for the bar and placed them at both ends of the bar.

One very useful piece of advise I received was serve your wine at the bar instead of having wine bottles at each table.  I was able to return unopen wine and not waste wine.

My Bridal Bouquet

A List of Flowers in My Bouquet

I had...

Calla Lilies
White Freesia
Vandella Roses
Soft Pink Roses
Green Hydrangeas
Peach Hypericums

I never knew how hard it was to figure out what flowers to pick for your bouquet.

Candy Bar & Popcorn Bar

My husband thought it would be cool to have a popcorn maker at our wedding.  Instead of making it during our reception, we had a popcorn bar with our candy bar.  We bought three flavours from Kernels the day before and filled giant jars with the
different types.  Way cheaper and less messy then a popcorn maker.  The added bonus was the kids loved it and they ate less candy!

Loot Bags for the Kids

My cousin did loot bags for her wedding and I loved the idea.  Kept the kids busy while the parents were getting settled and gave the kids something to do.

I got bags and labeled them with their names.  Inside I put a toy for there age, colouring book and washable crayons puzzles and games from Party City & Wal-mart.  The kids felt special and loved them.

Inexpensive Centerpiece for Reception Tables

I didn't want to spend lots of money of centerpieces for my reception tables and really wanted floral arrangements, so my florist recommend hydrangeas with a couple floral leaves.  I brought the mason jars and my florist arranged them.  The leaves and hydrangeas cost me $10 per jar and they dried beautifully!
